Registrar Lock in Shared Hosting
The Hepsia hosting Control Panel, which comes with each and every shared hosting plan that we offer, will give you total command over your domain names. You’ll find all domains registered through us conveniently listed in alphabetical order in a separate Control Panel section. Those whose extensions support the domain lock option will have a small padlock icon next to them. By clicking on the icon, you can find out if the specific domain name is locked or unlocked and you can update the current status by clicking once more – the process is as straightforward as that. You won’t have to wait for the change to take effect or for our company to do anything, as the change of the status takes effect instantaneously, even if you notice something different on WHOIS lookup sites. After all, it takes time for such sites to ‘refresh’ the information that they display.
Registrar Lock in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you’d like to transfer a domain from our company to another domain name registrar and you have a semi-dedicated server account, you’ll be able to get the domain ready with just several clicks of the mouse. All your domain registrations will be displayed in a separate section of the Hepsia Control Panel – the same tool via which you’ll manage your web hosting account. If a given gTLD or ccTLD supports the registrar lock feature, you will notice a padlock icon. You can find out if the domain name is locked or not by clicking on that icon once and you can update the status by clicking once again. This is all it takes and there will be nothing else that you or we will need to do, so you can continue with the domain transfer procedure straight away. The change will take effect momentarily, so you will not have to wait for the status to change on WHOIS lookup websites.
