There are two separate services that you need for a working site - a domain name plus a web hosting plan for it. If you type the Internet domain in your Internet browser, you see the content that’s uploaded inside the web hosting account, but if that Internet domain isn't linked to such an account or to an email service, it's parked. To put it differently, the domain name is registered and you're its owner, but it does not have any content of its own. Rather, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” page from the registrar company, or it could be forwarded to some other URL of your choice. The main advantage of parking a domain is that you can keep it and make certain that nobody else is going to take it. In the meantime, it will not occupy a slot for a hosted Internet domain within your account. You could also park domains if you have a .com, for example, and you register domains with other extensions such as .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main site as a way to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Shared Hosting

When you purchase a shared hosting plan through us, you are going to be able to register as many domain addresses as you want and park them with only a couple of mouse clicks via your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. Using our feature-rich Domain Manager instrument, you can select from various templates and add your own text to any of them. If you would like to forward a domain, all it requires is to type the URL, save it, and you will be all set. You could un-park a domain address and host it in your account just as easily and our system is going to do all the required changes - update the domain servers, set up DNS records for it, create a domain folder inside the File Manager part of your account, etc. In case you have a huge number of domains registered using our company, you will be able to use a filter to check out only the parked or just the hosted ones for much easier management. Considering that you can park a domain only with its registrar, you can employ this feature only for domains which are registered through us, but not through another company.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

With each and every semi-dedicated server that we provide you will have the freedom to park as many domain addresses that are registered through us as you would like. Since only the registrar company can offer a parking feature, you can not park domain names that are only hosted on our state-of-the-art cloud hosting platform. From the Domain Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel you are going to be able to park and un-park domains with just a couple of mouse clicks and filter all domains that you have by their status, for better control. We provide a variety of templates that you can use and if you prefer, you can also include some custom text to any of them. If you want to un-park a domain and host it in your account, you'll not need to do anything manually - our system will create a domain folder inside the File Manager section and will set up all the required DNS records so that the domain address functions properly and starts loading the content which you upload for it on our servers.
